Brahminy snake in my home

These snakes are very small .there length is 4to 5 cm ,very few are longer than 5 cm.They are of chocolate brown , yellowish browncolours and some are of grey colour .

They are totally blind snake and are nonvenomous snakes,they live in burrows and feed larvae ,eggs and pupae of and or other insects.
  They can be seen near by homes and in gardens and people sometimes confuse them with earthworms .They look like earthworms but there are many differences between them You
 can easily recognise them -

* By there skin
Snakes skin is  shiny and it has scales and in earthworm there are segments 8n there skin and in this snake same scales are found throughout the body as you know that different scales are found in head of snakes from body .

* Citellum
In earthworms in 14th segments of body there are male and female gonopore and you can easily see them  which is not found in snakes.
* Snakes crawl quicker than earthworms and there is difference in crawling of them as you can observe .

If you see these snakes near by your home or anywhere please don't killer them,observe them and know more about them or gently throw them in gardens or outside.
